Charles Rifkind started an initiative to plant 100 new cherry trees in Chester Road, at the gateway to Regent’s Park. By supporting the ‘Bring back the Blossom’ campaign, individuals had the opportunity to sponsor and own one of the new ‘Sunset Boulevard’ variety of cherry trees.
