A series of five spa villages, designed by David Morley Architects and developed by Charles Rifkind, are springing up in the Derbyshire Dales. Phase one, The Gateway, is due for completion by July 2020 and will provide 75 new homes. On completion, there will be 500 new homes. Drawing on the landscape’s post-industrial heritage, the development will use natural materials and encourage an active life with nature at its hub.
