Beyond The Boundaries. Developing Britain / Visitors’ Art Foundation.

In New York and many other cities, hotels add a culture tax to their guests’ bills. Currently, London has around 18 million visitors a year. If London hotels added a 1% culture tax to each guest’s bill, this could generate around £100 million a year that would help ensure continued free entry to the city’s museums and galleries. Charles Rifkind set up the Visitors’ Art Foundation to promote this initiative.
